Meet André!
“Hello, my name is André Åström and I am a greenkeeper from Sweden. I am on this amazing journey to Australia at 19 years old. I have been working at Terrey Hills Golf and Country Club for four months and coming down under has been an incredible experience for me with many laughs and new friends from all over the world.
The Superintendent, Gareth Hammond and the other greenkeepers were very nice to us and I have really enjoyed my time here. I have had a lot of spare time to explore Sydney or go to one of the many beautiful beaches. If you like playing golf, you will enjoy playing in the afternoons.”
Yesterday we hosted a social event for the seasonal program participants. It was great to hear about their time here so far, on and off the golf course. Thank you to Metropolitan Golf Club for allowing us to host the event during this busy time of year and for the excellent hospitality throughout the afternoon.

Yesterday we hosted the first orientation program of the 2023/2024 season in Sydney! It was a busy but exciting day for the participants as they embark on their Australian adventure!
