EnvoyGolf is proud to partner with Titirangi Golf Club to appoint the Club’s next Course Superintendent — a rare opportunity at New Zealand’s only Dr Alister MacKenzie–designed course and one of the country’s most respected golfing venues.

Located just minutes from central Auckland, Titirangi combines world-class design with a progressive vision for course conditioning and long-term development. The Club is entering an exciting phase, with major initiatives underway including a greens conversion to Browntop, a complete irrigation system replacementfairway species selection and management, and continued implementation of Clyde Johnson’s 2025 Course Development Plan.

The Role
Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the Course Convenor and Course Committee, the Superintendent will lead all agronomy, course maintenance, and capital development activities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering consistent, high-quality presentation and playability across the course and practice facilities.
  • Leading, developing, and motivating a greenkeeping team of approximately 12 staff.
  • Driving major development projects and ensuring they are delivered to the required standard, on time and to budget.
  • Embedding data-driven turf management systems and sustainable maintenance practices.
  • Maintaining strong communication with management, members, suppliers, and contractors.

About You
To be successful, you will bring:

  • Experience as a Course Superintendent or senior assistant at a leading golf club.
  • Strong agronomic expertise and familiarity with modern turf technology.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality conditioning and capital works.
  • Leadership capability, clear communication skills, and a collaborative approach.
  • A passion for design integrity, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

Why This Role?
This is an outstanding opportunity to shape the future of an iconic New Zealand course with global pedigree. You’ll work with a supportive leadership team and a membership that values excellence, tradition, and innovation.
A competitive remuneration package commensurate with experience will be offered.
