The Victoria Golf Club has a long and proud history of providing excellent service to its members and guests. It offers a championship golf course, which underwent a complete greens renovation and some redesign in 2019 and has hosted many major championship events as it will again with The Australian Open in 2022.
We are proud of our local, welcoming, and engaging club culture, uniquely complemented with onsite accommodation providing a unique ‘Victoria Golf Club experience’ for members and guests. We also recognise the need to keep the club moving forward, through enhancing our offering for current members and guests and building our profile within an ever-evolving golf market.
To achieve this, we believe we need someone who preferably brings the experience and knowledge of golf club management and the industry to engage with who we are and what the Victoria Golf Club represents. They will also preferably have a track record for successfully managing all aspects of a golf clubs’ operations and can do so in a manner consistent with the club’s reputation and expectations of its members and in accordance with the purpose, values, strategy, business plans and policies approved by the Board.
We also seek a fresh perspective, a strategic thinker, who understands and has consistently delivered ‘best in market’ service offerings and built a culture within their team that delivers continuous improvement. They will be able to engage as effectively with members and guests as they do with the external market and have the interpersonal and communication skills and familiarity with communication and social media platforms available to achieve this.
If you are a strategic and independent thinker who can develop and execute on a plan for the future of the club within a changing golf club landscape, we would like to hear from you.
