Once a candidate applies for a job, their information will be forwarded to the club they applied to work at. The club will be provided with all the information the candidate has been asked to supply, allowing Superintendents to make an informed decision on who to interview.

With experienced greens staff this information includes a detailed list of the candidate's industry specific skills, their work and education history, a video of the candidate introducing themselves and a list of all the equipment they have used.

For those without specific greens staff experience, students and others the information will include work history and references and their course of study and more focus will be on the video of them speaking about themselves.

Club superintendents can then choose who they would like to interview out of the candidates that have expressed their interest in the position. This happens over the phone or via video, or face to face, hopefully leading to a job offer. Once the offer is extended and accepted, the a start date will be arranged and the candidate will be employed directly by the golf club.

Those candidates who applied but were not accepted would receive an email to this effect and asked to continue to apply for other roles posted on the site that are of interest to them.

'EnvoyGolf are pioneering the solution to a problem faced by most golf clubs in Australia - a shortage of seasonal course staff during the summer growing season. Congratulations to Mark and his team for facilitating this solution to a gap in our labour needs and making it an easy process.'

'Last year I employed two guys out of Sweden, and they were the best two summer interns we have ever had.'

'Access to a supply of experienced greens staff I don't have to track down will save me a lot of time. And these are people who are here to work and enjoy a Sydney Summer.'

Phil Beal

Course Superintendent, The Australian Golf Club

In October 2019, EnvoyGolf's commenced operations, recruiting experienced greenkeepers from Sweden and Norway to work as summer casuals at golf clubs across three states in Australia.

In the summer of 2020-2021 operations continued, this time sourcing summer casuals out of the domestic market, in greater numbers and across four states and territories.

When international travel is possible, we will once again be sourcing experienced green keepers and other golf industry professionals from the northern hemisphere into Australia and New Zealand. And have already identified the need in the northern hemisphere for the same additional staff over the northern summers and will be sourcing these out of Australia and New Zealand.

In just April 2021 we launched our senior executive appointments capability and have already been privileged to work with some of Australia's top golf clubs, including Avondale and The Australian Golf Clubs in Sydney and Victoria Golf Club in Melbourne.
